In This Corner of The World

In this corner of the world, history repeats its tragedies but takes new forms for a change.

In this corner of the world, a million screams arise, yet the rest of the world plays deaf.

In this corner of the world, children dream of their parents returning home. They dream of just one more hug, just one more moment. Or at least an effortless piece of bread.

A messile after another that we wake up to, girls with big dreams and pink backpacks losing their lives at school, and Lebanon.. our beautiful Lebanon once again..

The ruins of the Iranian Golestan palace I've always wanted to witness with my eyes. The land of Rumi; the reason why I always wanted to learn Persian.

The whole middle east, where people are just a number. Mere puppets for those in power to play with, and try and hide their own crimes.

In this corner of the world, you're cursed to witness the sufferings empty-handed, and when it all ends -if it does- you'd be filled with guilt to be the lucky one that survived it all.
